Blacksmith/Centre Grove 1871-1872 The post office was named Centre Grove for less than a month before changing to Blacksmith.
Carthage None Founded by W. B. Stith in 1857.
Central Grove 1871 The post office was only open for a month.
Cross Creek 1864-1868 Cross Creek Toll Bridge on Oregon/California Trail in 1852. Trading post in 1853. Now Rossville.
Elmont 1887-1955 In Soldier Township, it was a station on the Chicago and Rock Island Railroad seven miles north of Topeka. In 1910, it had a population of 61.
Esther 1890-1893
Grand Haven 1875-1901 A small settlement in the extreme southwest corner of the county about eight miles from Eskridge.
Highland Park 1890-1894 Though a post office was approved, it was never in operation.
Hygienic 1901-1903
Indianola 1855-1868 Founded by H. D. McMeekin.
Kenamo None It was founded and laid out by Joseph Allen in 1856.
Kilmer 1886-1900
Kingsville 1873-1914 Located on the Ninnescah River and Kansas Pacific Railroad, it was a country office located in Silver Lake Township, nine miles northwest of Topeka.
Loring 1855 The post office was only open for 11 months before moving to Indianola.
Lynn Creek 1872-1874
Mairestown 1857-1862 Mairestown was founded by Thomas W. Mairs in 1855.
Menoken 1877-1910 Located in Menoken Township, five miles northwest of Topeka. It was on the Union Pacific Railroad. The population in 1910 was 25.
Mission 1871-1872 The post office was open for less than a year.
North Topeka/Eugene 1866-1879 The name changed from Eugene to North Topeka on December 12, 1870.
Oakland 1888-1910 Oakland was an incorporated community near Topeka, which it was connected by a street railway. It once had several nurseries, large woolen mills, and the Oakland Blade newspaper. In 1910, its population was 1,465. It is a neighborhood of Topeka today.

Redpath/Plowboy 1871-1884 The name changed from Plowboy to Redpath on April 24, 1882. It was near Auburn.
Richland 1867-1969 Richland was abandoned when the Corps of Engineers acquired area land for the Clinton Lake floodplain.
Rochester None Founded in 1854 by J. Butler Chapman. First called Delaware City, then Whitfield, then Kansopolis, and afterward changed to Rochester.

Saw-Qua 1871-1873 Also known as Saw-Gua.
Seabrook 1887-1899
Shorey 1889-1907 A suburb of Topeka, with which it was connected by an electric line. It was located on the Chicago and Rock Island Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad. In 1910, It had schools, churches, general stores, nurseries, and a population of 400
Sugar Works 1891-1895 Though the post office was authorized, it was never in operation.
Swinburn 1896-1901 It was located six miles north of Silver Lake.
Tevis 1887-1909 It was a country station on the Missouri Pacific Railroad two miles from Berryton. The population in 1910 was 79.
Uniontown 1856 Uniontown, Kansas, was a government trading post established in March 1848 for the Potawatomi Indians at a point nearly opposite the present town of Rossville. The post office was only in operation for about six months with Charles Randall, postmaster.
Valencia 1878-1933 It was located in Dover Township, on the Kansas River, and the Chicago and Rock Island Railroad. In 1910, it had a general store, telegraph and express offices, a money order post office with one rural route, and a population of 50. It was located 12 miles west of Topeka.
Vidette 1885-1898
Wagner 1880 The post office was only open for four months.
Wah Wah Suk 1870-1871  Sixteen miles west of Topeka. The post office was only open for ten months.
Wanamaker 1889-1903 A hamlet five miles west of Topeka, it had a population of 17 in 1910.
Washington None Founded by Captain E. Allen in 1855.
Watson 1883-1899
Waveland 1862-1900 A country hamlet located 14 miles southwest of Topeka. The population in 1910 was 31.

Willard 1887-1959 The post office was moved from Post Creek. This is still a small community with a population of 74 as of the 2020 census.
Williamsport 1858-1860
1863-1870
Founded by citizens of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The post office moved to Wakarusa.
